Unit Casing
The entire fan housing and discharge are 16 gauge steel, continuously welded and liquid tight to NFPA 96 requirements.
The fan discharge shall be 40” minimum above roofline as per NFPA 96 requirements, and shall be complete with a gravity back draft damper. The unit shall be complete with a 16 gauge steel roof curb, shipped separately for field installation.
The exhaust duct collar shall be 1” insulated double skin steel, continuously welded, and shall extend 12” below the roof line complete with a 1” flanged connection for welding or bolting to the duct system.
The minimum clearance from the outside of the duct collar skin to combustible roof opening shall be 3” as per ULC listing.
Fan and motor are attached to a hinged access panel to allow for easy access for cleaning and maintenance. The fan shall be factory primed and painted.
